    # Assign a button/key to (reWASD mapping) a unique `Command` name

Coming from a Pinnacle Game Profiler, you can assign a button to a Command.
I play a lot of Guild Wars 2 on my PlayStation Controller DS3/DS4.
When I assign buttons to a key I could select a Command as well instead of Key/Button Press

Currently there are Short Cuts list where you combine button/key presses to something. But that's not what I'm looking for.
What I love to see is a Command list where I could enter a unique `name` for example: `Movement > Jump`, and a key/key combo for example: <kbd>Space</kbd>

An example Command List could have in Alphabetic order:

    - Mouse Pointer > Mouse Pointer Center 50% 50%
    - Movement > About Face
    - Movement > Dodge
    - Movement > Jump
    - Skills > Skill 1
    - Skills > Skill 2
    - Skills > Switch Weapon
    - etc...

    The advantages are:
    - Easier to associate a key with something
    - Easier to edit in-game if Jump is not a <kbd>Space</kbd>
    - Easier to remap and switch Command

Do I get it right that you want to add some kind of aliases for mappings to use them later in a config? Sounds like a good idea, though I have to mention that we do have Descriptions for mappings in reWASD and all mappings can be copy&pasted. While not working exactly as you have described, a similar mechanism is already available in reWASD: you can already remap keys like F13-F24, add descriptions to them and copy those mappings to other buttons.

To show descriptions instead of mappings - click this icon:

Btw, we are unable to move the mouse to specific positions yet.

      Hey there!

We are planning to make a "Library" with user-made "commands" — specific combos you have created already and use in different configs, specific mappings with the added description and so no. Then, you will be able to choose this command anytime you set up the new config. Am I right that it is pretty close to what you want to achieve?
